Questions fréquemment posées sur les produits

Pouvez-vous mettre de l'eau boueuse dans le seau ?

Oui, mais le lavage à contre-courant sera plus fréquent. Il ne modifiera pas l'efficacité du filtre à éliminer les agents pathogènes nocifs.

Dois-je utiliser un seau en plastique de cinq gallons ?

Vous pouvez fixer le filtre à n'importe quel récipient de n'importe quelle taille dans lequel vous pouvez percer un trou. Nous recommandons de fixer le filtre à un récipient propre de qualité alimentaire ou qui a déjà été utilisé pour transporter des produits alimentaires. Ne fixez pas le filtre à un seau ayant servi à transporter des produits chimiques. Le filtre s'adaptera également à la plupart des bidons d'eau en retirant la valve existante et en la remplaçant par les raccords fournis avec le filtre. Pour un rendement plus important, raccordez plusieurs filtres à une grande citerne ou à un système de récupération de l'eau de pluie. Il est conseillé d'utiliser l'option tuyau de 3 pieds afin de pouvoir élever le filtre au-dessus du niveau de l'eau pour couper le débit.

Avez-vous besoin d'une perceuse électrique pour découper le trou dans le seau ?

Non. Vous pouvez découper le trou à la main à l'aide du cutter fourni.

Help Videos

The QR code printed on our filters brings users to our website's Help page, where they can select one of the ten available languages. When in-person demonstrations and training are impossible, users are able to learn everything they need to know about their filter at the point of use. 

The QR codes can also be scanned into GIS survey software for monitoring and evaluation of the filters. This replaces the bar codes that were previously used.
