La picaridine est un ingrédient synthétique inodore que l'on trouve dans certains insectifuges. Il est relativement nouveau aux États-Unis, mais il est utilisé en Europe depuis plus de 10 ans. Il est similaire au deet et offre une protection durable contre les insectes. Les produits contenant de la picaridine peuvent être utilisés sur les bébés dès l'âge de 2 mois.
