“In 2022 I visited the Maasai people myself and saw the incredible living conditions. They have no access to clean water and have to walk miles to the nearest river in order to get water from the same place animals bath and go to the bathroom in. I am honored to be a part of this amazing effort to change all of that – one water filter at a time." - Dan Becker

Outdoor adventure YouTube personality and board member of The Bucket Ministry Dan Becker gave his audience a Christmas call to action in the opening minutes of his annual "Campworthy or Crap" video posted earlier this week.

This special campaign is focused on equipping a team of 20 Maasai missionaries working with The Bucket Ministry with what they need to  execute a clean water project for the community of Shompole. To reach families living without access to clean water, the team must camp in extremely remote conditions for several weeks at a time. This is extreme camping at its core, with the closest town many hours away.

Your generosity will help provide essential supplies like cots, sleeping bags, canvas safari tents, cooking equipment, and solar generators—everything needed to safely and effectively reach these ultra-remote communities.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 for these essential long-term camping supplies, and you can track progress in real time using the fundraiser tracker below.

Click here to visit the Fundraiser's official webpage, and make a tax-deductible donation to support clean water work this holiday season.
