You’ll hike faster and farther with a purpose-driven 6 lb super ultralight kit, and without sacrificing warmth, comfort, or functionality.
The total base weight of this fastpacking gear list is just over 6 pounds. This was formerly a 5 pound fastpacking gear list, but the addition of one extra pound massively increased comfort and functionality. We prioritize user-friendly, three-season-compatible gear. This is not a hypothetical exercise in carrying the least amount of weight possible. This is what we actually want to use, and we feel safe and comfortable in doing so.
